Le label franco-chinois, WV Sorcerer Productions (巫唱片) vient de rééditer un album culte de la scène Black Metal / Extrême chinoise, National Martyr (國殤). Il s'agit du premier et unique album de Resurrection (復活) sorti à l'origine en 2006 via le label Shang. Pour cette sortie l'album n'a pas été réenregistré, il a été seulement remasterisé par Cyril Meysson pour s'adapter au format LP.
Il est disponible au format LP + CD, rouge ou noir et digital.
Le label explique l'importance de cette album dans l'histoire de la scène chinoise : ""國殤 National Martyr" is an important album in the history of Chinese extreme metal/black metal. In the early days of the Chinese extreme metal scene around the year 2000, when most bands were trying to find their own sound, "National Martyr" was released by Shang label in 2006, it left a lasting impression and has continued to be an important influence on future generations of metal bands in China. Influenced by the 2nd Wave of Black Metal from Scandinavia, Resurrection has created its own style by imbibing the soul of traditional Chinese culture in all aspects of songwriting and lyrics, including Chu Ci Poetry of Qu Yuan (c. 340 BC – 278 BC)."
