La formation américaine Cathexis (Technical Death Metal) a annoncé la sortie de son troisième album qui succédera à Pillar Of Waste sorti en 2013. Ce nouvel album intitulé Untethered Abyss paraitra le 25 juin prochain via Willowtip Records.
L'album a été réampé et mixé par Jeanne Strieder au Magma Art & Sound et masterisé par Colin Marston au Menegroth, The Thousand Caves.
L'artwork ornant l'album a été réalisé par Rodrigo Pereira Salvatierra de Absolute Desert Art.
