Wretch (Doom/USA) est le nouveau projet de Karl Simon (ex-The Gates of Slumber) et va sortir son premier album "Running Out of Days" sur Bad Omen Records. Cet album est un hommage à son acolyte dans TGOS Jason MacCash décédé en 2014.
Jason avait commencé à composer de nouveaux titres qui sont ceux qui se retrouvent sur ce premier album.
Karl Simon est assisté de Chris Gordon à la batterie et du bassiste Bryce Clarke.
Déclaration de karl:
"The title, "Running out of Days" refers to comes from a song that Jason wrote almost exactly one year to the minute before he died. The lyrics and music are totally different, but the title is the same, in honor of him. Lyrically, the song is about the memories I have of the last few years of his life as the drugs took hold.""
