Le leader de Nile, Karl Sanders vient d'annoncer la sortie d'un troisième album pour son projet solo éponyme. Ce troisième album sortira le 22 juillet 2022 soit treize ans après Saurian Exorcisms. Ce nouveau chapitre s'intitulera Saurian Apocalypse et sera disponible au format CD, K7 et LP via
Napalm Records.
L'histoire qui nous est contée dans ce futur opus est celle du Dr Eduardo Lucciani. Rare survivant d'une apocalypse causée par l'homme, il sombre petit à petit dans la folie après avoir découvert les horreurs et les violences commissent par les Maitres Sauriens.
Pour cet album Karl Sanders à de nouveau fait appelle à Mike Breazeale (Nile, George Kollias) pour le chant avec qui il avait déjà collaboré pour les deux précédents ainsi qu'au premier batteur de Nile, Pete Hammoura.
Découvrez un troisième extrait ci-dessous avec le titre "The Evil Inherent in us All". Il fait suite à "The Sun Has Set on the Age of Man" et "Skull Fuck Ritual (Skull Breach Edition)" dévoilé précédemment. Karl Sanders explique ce nouveau titre : “I am really happy with how this song turned out. 'The Evil Inherent in us All' was a lot of fun to write and record. The song was inspired by an infamous night in Cairo when Egyptian Metal Artist, Impresario, and underground legend Nader Sadek took Derek Roddy, Mahmud Gecekesu and me to a performance of authentic North African Exorcism Music. The unbelievable, highly advanced and intuitive ensemble musicianship we witnessed that night was unforgettable and really opened my eyes and ears to an entire wealth of new music. In keeping with that profoundly moving communal spirit of subtle yet intense shared musical frenzy among the performers, The Evil Inherent has two close friends of mine contributing some serious musical voodoo to the track. Original Nile drummer and lifelong friend Pete Hammoura conjures all manner of wickedly grooving percussion, and our metal brother Rusty Cooley lays down some truly unique acoustic guitar exorcisms.”
