Formé fin 2020 le groupe Néfastes est composé d'anciens membres de Benighted ainsi que du chanteur et fondateur Julien Truchan. Ce nouveau projet de Black Metal qui renoue avec les premiers amours du frontman, sortira son premier album Scumanity le 11 Juin via Source Atone Records.
L’album a été enregistré puis mixé par Liem N’Guyen (ex-Benighted, Darkness Fire), la masterisation a été confiée à Thibault Bernard (Benighted, Carnage of Children, Sublime Cadaveric Decomposition etc...). L'artwork a été confié à Nicko Metalink qui a déjà travaillé sur les artwork de Insane Cephalic Production, Identisick et Insane Cephalic Production de Benighted.
