C'est après cinq ans de silence que sort le nouvel album de Diocletian (War Metal - Nouvelle-Zélande) intitulé Amongst the Flames of a Bvrning God chez Profound Lore Records.
Il a éré enregistré par B. White au Bigdoor Studios Northland, mixé et masterisé par Dan Klein au Ironhand Audio.
Pour ce nouvel enregistrement on retrouve Impurath de Black Witchery au chant.
Cet album est en mémoire de Tregenda (ex-Black Witchery) décédé en 2013.
