Trois ans après Arctic Thunder, le groupe culte de Black Metal norvégien, Darkthrone est de retour ! Leur nouvel album s'intitulera Old Star et sortira le 31 Mai via Peaceville, un premier extrait vient d'être dévoilé, découvrez ci-dessous le titre "The Hardship of the Scots".
Le groupe annonce que cet album sera "comme si les 80's n'étaient jamais parties avec des riff plus Metal que jamais". Il a été mixé par Sanford Parker (Nachtmystium, Voivod etc...) et masterisé par Jack du Enormous Door. L'artwork est signé Chadwick St John (Arckanum, Quintessence, End etc...), est a pour titre "The Shepherd of the Deep".
