Le groupe de Black Doom Metal anglo-canadien, Vow of Thorns sortira le 15 Juillet prochain son premier album, "Farewell to the Sun". Le groupe puise ses influences chez des formations comme, Agalloch, Drudkh, et Wolves in the Throne Room.
L'album a été mixé et masterisé par Jason W. Walton au Earth In Sound à Portland. L'artwork est composé d'une photo de Kerrie Winegarden (Forest Photography), et d'illustrasions signées Manuel Scapinello.
