Nous sonnes attristés d'apprendre le décès du musicien John Lever hier, lundi 13 mars. John était le batteur de légendaires groupes de post-punk tels que The Chameleons et The Sun and the Moon, avec un partenariat musical de longue date avec le bassiste Mark Burgess.
John avait initialement rejoint Mark pour reprendre la section rythmique des Chameleons dans le projet ChameleonsVox, mais avait quitté la nouvelle formation, laissant Mark Burgess seul aux commandes.
Sa mort a été annoncée par Mark Burgess hier après-midi:
"I'm deeply sad to report that this afternoon I got the news that John Lever died this morning following a short period of illness. We want to offer our sincere and deepest sympathy to John's mother, his sister and his two children at this terrible time.
Obviously I'm shocked at the news and consequently I'll be offline for a while."
Toutes nos condoléances vont à sa famille et à ses proches.
